- L538 (2011 to 2018): 2.0 Si4 petrol, TD4 and eD4 diesel, then Ingenium engines, six and nine speed gearboxes
- L551 (2019 onward): Ingenium petrol and diesel, mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions
Common Evoque work
Gearbox shift quality on the nine speed, Ingenium timing chain and cooling issues, AC performance and electrical faults are the most frequent jobs. Regular servicing with the correct oil grade makes a big difference to Ingenium engine life.
